Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using the Veinwork dashboard and data exports. No surprises buried in clause 47.

Last updated: September 9, 2026

01

What Veinwork is

Veinwork provides public web data collection, preparation, analysis, and delivery to business customers, including datasets scoped for AI training and evaluation. Our team prepares results separately and uploads them to the dashboard; the dashboard does not run collection software. We provide access subject to the agreed project scope and applicable source rights. We do not claim ownership of third-party websites, content, product information, or trademarks.

These terms are an agreement between your business and Veinwork. By using the service, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

02

Accounts

Veinwork is invite-only. Accounts are created for you by us or by an administrator in your organization — there is no public signup. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the contact address below if you believe your account has been compromised.

03

Acceptable use

Your license to the data and the dashboard comes with limits:

  • Unless expressly agreed in writing and supported by the applicable source rights, do not resell, redistribute, or republish raw exports to third parties. Internal analysis and derived work products must remain within your agreed project scope and source restrictions.
  • AI training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and any downstream publication require an agreed use and an appropriate rights basis. Access to the dashboard is not an unrestricted license for these purposes, and no agreement with us grants third-party rights we do not hold.
  • Do not use the data or the service in a way that violates any applicable law, including competition law and consumer-protection law.
  • Do not attempt to probe, overload, or circumvent the security of the service, or share account access outside your organization.

We may suspend accounts that breach these limits while we sort the situation out with you.

04

Data disclaimer

Our Responsible data collection policy sets out public-source requirements, source review, access restrictions, privacy review, and how to report a source concern. Public availability does not by itself establish permission for collection, redistribution, or AI training.

  • The data is collected from publicly accessible retailer web pages. It reflects what a page showed at the moment we observed it, and nothing more.
  • The data is provided as-is. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or freshness. Retailers change prices and stock continuously; our observations can lag, gaps can occur, and pages can present different values to different visitors.
  • Provenance and compliance metadata attached to observations — such as robots.txt state or text-and-data-mining (TDM) opt-out flags — may be marked unverified. Where it is, we have not confirmed it and you should not rely on it as a legal determination.
  • Veinwork is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lowe’s, The Home Depot, or any other retailer whose public pages appear in the data. All retailer names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the source of an observation.

You are responsible for deciding whether the data is fit for your purpose, including any regulatory or contractual obligations that apply to your use of it.

05

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are invoiced directly by Veinwork — there is no self-serve checkout. We issue an invoice for each billing period and you settle it by bank transfer; for international payments we use Wise. Pricing, plan scope, invoicing cadence, and renewal terms are stated in your order agreement. Access is provisioned once the first invoice clears, and we may suspend access for invoices that remain unpaid after we have given you notice.

Published retail subscription pricing counts one selected product or variant, at one retailer, in one agreed store or pricing location as one tracked listing. Additional retailers and locations count separately; scheduled daily updates are included. Flexible coverage has no minimum monthly spend, and volume packages include a stated listing allowance. Source availability, scope changes, upgrades, and any additional charges must be agreed before the additional work begins. Custom datasets and AI training preparation are quoted separately.

Veinwork is a Philippines-based supplier and is not acting as a merchant of record for your purchase. Invoices are issued exclusive of any tax that may be due in your own jurisdiction; where a reverse charge or local tax applies to a cross-border business purchase, accounting for it is your responsibility.

06

Termination

You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless your order says otherwise. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms (including the acceptable-use limits above) if the breach is not cured within a reasonable time after we notify you. On termination, your right to access the dashboard ends; analysis you have already derived from the data remains yours.

07

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veinwork’s total liability arising out of or related to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or business decisions made in reliance on the data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

08

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you may cancel before they apply.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER — governing law/jurisdiction], and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [PLACEHOLDER — governing law/jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
